Hooray!

I know this aint a 1588, but I bought a 1602n today for $30 looks almost new, got it home added a PC. fan, put water in it & a truner & this thing is holding like a rock at 100.2, its been there for 2 hours now, Im tickled, & also holding humidity at 40% dead on, these things sure have improved through the years, my first one which I still have is about 20 years old is alot shorter & is completly square & the thermostat is in the center of the top not set in the corner like the new mods. so far I love it, cant wait till my 1588 gets here on Tues. or Wed. though, I think its going to be my best setup yet, 1588 to incubate with & the 1602n as a hatcher, good luck to everyone, lets try to keep this thread going, lets here from others experinces with these bators, Heres to the HOVABATOR !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update on my 1602n, got up this morning to find my hovabator 1602n running its little butt off & holding betwen 100.2-100.4 & humibity at a dead 40% !!!!!!! What elese could you ask for, I never expected this out of this machine, but so far she's found a home, the PC. fan made a complete difference in its proformance, so for those of you wondering about the little Hovabator 1602n ? The one I have could not be any better than what it is now, I'v got $30 in it & it will run with the Brinsea or any of the rest of them all day long, maybe I got lucky, but I'm very proud of mine, good luck to everyone.

I'm running my hatch this time without a thermometer or hygrometer ... I trust the 1588 so much to hold as it has done before and I am following the directions about filling up the troughs ect... As a newbie I don't feel there is much I could do if it wasnt holding the temps and humidity... I played with the humidity last hatch and it was a disaster...the other three hatches before when I followed the bator and let it do itsown thing was almost 100% and all these have been with shipped eggs!

So we will see come this time next week!
