Hovabator Fan

Someone just gave me a Hovabator with a fan. I've only used still-air incubators and am unfamiliar with fan operation. I plugged it in to check it out and the fan went on for a while, then stopped.
Silly question: Do the fans on incubators cycle or are they supposed to stay on continuously?

I have an MPS12 & MPS35 and on both the fans stay on continuously.

My hovabator cycles and my brinsea stays on. If it has a fan, the bator should be at 99.5 if it cycles or not. I have had the same hatch rate anyways!

Thanks for the quick replies! I guess it depends on the manufacturer. After I posted I noticed the fan was on again and it seems to be cycling with the heating element. I'm getting ready to try my first hatch with it. Thanks for the temp advice. Wish me luck!!!
