I started a thread asking this question but the only response I got was from someone who doesn't have geese. I will have a 15 x 30 yard for the geese exclusively. Is this enough room for a pair of geese and their goslings? How big of a shelter will they need? I plan to put a kiddie pool for them.

15x30 is "ok" for a holding yard, but even just two geese will turn it to a bare and mud/dirt only pen quickly.



Breeding question: are geese like other animals and unable to be bred to relatives? If I wanted to sell breeding pairs, would I need two pairs to so the breeding pair are not related?

You dont breed siblings together. You can breed son to mother and daughter to father.

I would put chocolate on their pillows but it causes cavities if you eat too much plus they'd be going around saying does my butt look big.

Well around here the ducks and geese like to pluck the chickens if they get to close so I'd probably use chicken feathers.

I ordered two embden and they will come early summer. I can't wait to raise them. Right now I have 3 white chinese.
