@JLfarm Well one thing you should let papa goose be in there too. both gander and goose are wonderful parents and he will be very upset if he doesn't get to be part of it all. lolThank you Mrs Lydia I do have a brood house ready for when they hatch that mom and babies will be put in. I'm so exited they will be my first natural hatching of goslings here on the farm can't wait. Is there anything that I should know r do to possibly have a better hatch percentage ? Parents r both 3 years of age.
Sounds like you have it worked out just keep them from any water sources until fully feathered. that way they won't chill.That is one big way of losingg gosling in winter getting wet and chilling. other than their drinking water of course.
I am very excited for you and looking forward to hearing all about it. When is hatch day?
