Ha Ha, funny post Foxy. When I post about setting a trap with whole eggs, I always expect to have to explain that they are not cracked open. Just never thought somebody would decide to boil them. John, just like Foxy said, leave them raw. Home made eggs that aren`t washed are lots better than store bought washed eggs, and they do have a smell that predators like. I don`t have minks and such in my area, but I`ll betcha they will go for an easy meal first, just like any other predator. The only thing I know of that won`t be drawn to a whole egg is a bobcat. Well probably mountain lions too, but those are rare in chicken yards. Try the raw whole eggs, ya won`t be dissapointed........Pop
