on link.

How many rabbits would this hold? What breed would be the best for a begginer? I just want them as pets and maybe fur.
I think this is in the wrong section, but if I put it in the rabbit it would not get probbly answered.

maybe you should post over on the other livestock section. I think they have rabbit folks over there.

PS or post something in the title about rabbit coop. With all the people on the forum, people don't read all the posts, just the ones with titles that interest them.

That's a nice setup, but you need to do a bunch of research on the bunnies first.

Here's a few things to get you started:

1. More then one bun of the same sex and they'll usually get territorial and fight as they reach maturity
2. A boy and a girl will make lots more bunnies, but works well if you get the male fixed.
3. Rabbits, especially the does like to dig so you would need to put wire down on the ground to prevent that.
4. Rabbits that are on the same ground (hutch looks stationary) are more likely to have problems with worms and wry neck (diff. then chick wry neck)

Most people keep rabbits in hutches with wire or mostly wire bottoms because of the health issues that come up when they're on the ground. I do too for the most part, but I have a modified 4x4 dog run that I move around the yard during the nicer months so ours get a chance to hop around on the grass.

Plan on the adult size of the rabbit...

Normally 1 sq ft per pound of the adult rabbit MINIMUM. If there are two or more rabbits in the enclosure make it 2 sq ft minimum. (if that is what you plan to do) Rabbits are highly territorial and if you plan on having breeding pairs the females might go after the males constantly unless they have a large amount of space.
