How Active are Ducklings Supposed to Be

THEY CAN WALK!!!! I just saw them walking around the brooder!!!!! SO FREAKING HAPPY!!!!

Ducklings usually stay in the nest a day after they've all hatched before exploring the outside world and even though they arent/werent walking, were they poking around at things with their beak? Chirping? Looking alert?
They'll sleep a lot at the start before getting up and basically making a mess in your brooder
