How and how often to use ACV

Because I change the chickens water twice daily, it would be a waste for me to add ACV to the water (since they make a mess in the water pans).

I wonder IF putting a small dish (shoulder-high to a chicken) with straight ACV would be OK?

just trying to sort this idea out in my mind.....I'm sure that it would be healthy to make their systems a bit more acidic. Might even be good as a sort of "probiotic".

Would "straight ACV" be an option or should I consider another alternative?

I checked my bottle of ACV and it does not says any where to put it in the fridge. I have the store brand from the organic food store. So maybe the Braggs brand says to put in the fridge?

Well, maybe you don't have to refrigerate after opening. You are right, it does not say that. That's just what we have done for about 30 years or so. LOL

Now, another way to give it to them is as people drink it. I use a tablespoon or two (a good glug actually) in a glass of water. I can sit outside with the girls and they are all over me trying to get some. So I put some in a small dish and they all belly up to the bar and drink it all down.

Have been giving it to my horses for years. Helps achy old arthritic joints. Is cheaper than glucosamine! Also good for Mother's similar joint probs...
