I have to limit down my birds now. I am going to hatch out 2 more breeds. I have to wait till we move to hatch again but I can do 2 more breeds in this house.

How are these birds? Are they sweet, skitty, flighty?

Are they quiet?

I raise "Pure" Ameraucanas and just like any other breed they are what you put into them. The hens and roosters if you handle them enough they will become extremely tame. The ones that I did handle you or even children could pick them up and they would come to you for treats. The only draw back with that is when you plan on culling you tend to keep the pet even though it doesn't reach the standards goal you are after. So I had to stop taming any of them for that reason, but they are still on the docile side from my stock. I like the pure blacks the best myself because the hawks don't bother them as much for some reason plus their beautiful black-green sheen in the sunlight. I have had EE's on and off and generally speaking they were about the same personality wise.

thanks. I dont plan to show or cull. just want them blue/green eggs lol. I have all tame birds in my flock. Just want to keep it that way.
