How are commercial hens raised?

I was always wondering what commercial hens are fed and what else they are given other than water and the feed.

There pretty much fed the same thing anyother chicken feed is made of. Sometimes antibiotics are used but only when needed. It can raise feed prices 200-300 doller a ton. Also sometimes oyster shells are added for calcium.
