I'm fascinated by the frizzle and sizzle chickens. I live in maine and have in the winter, a flock of 9 birds and 5 guineas in an 8x8 somewhat insulated coop. I also hang a heat lamp that comes on early morning. how do these 2 breed fair in cold weather or are they really not suited for maine weather?

It would be a good idea to have all-day heat lamp for them. Also, there can be NO drafts. You need to be careful of them walking in the snow, since they have feathered feet, and the feathers make snowballs. One of my birds lost both of her feet this winter to this.
Otherwise, they should be fine! Enjoy your unique birds!
edited to say: you can get frizzles that don't have feathered feet, but most sizzles have feathered feet.
