How are you preventing Avian Flu in your flock?

Thats why people where hiding them in other states which is stupid. I mean if this got as far as new york where I am and i was in that zone then they can cull all my chickens,ducks and even my geese, but touch my budgies and its gonna be a different story lol I didnt starty line in 09 for them to be wiped out for nothing

All i know is its highly contagious never had to deal with it but people in the uk have been on lockdown since november meaning birds need to be in covered coops and barns if not in the effective areas.

Well if people follow rules it shouldnt get any worse I think california had it few years ago was bad because of the hiding/moving of birds

No thats for one illegal but people where moving their birds so they wouldnt get killed to other states is why it got bad few years ago in california and the surrounding states

Yes avian influenza unfortunately is a death sentence for the affected bird and the flock. One of the main symptoms is sudden death, and respiratory problems
