How big do you make your brooder

I am going to be brooding my first order of 15 chicks. I am going to put my brooder in the coop as the weather is very worm (hot). How much room what size should the brooder area be? How many feeders/waters should I have?

The first week or two the brooder should be smaller, than you should make it bigger after 2 weeks. When under 2 weeks mine are in a 28x55 box brooder, I generally brood 10-25, than they go to a 3x10, than at 4-6 weeks I start letting them out to integrate.

Thank you. My coop is 4x8 so after 2 weeks in the brooder box I should give then the run of the full coop. I plan on only keeping 4-5 birds for my flock. The rest will go in the freezer.
