I have an egg or two I would like to set, but they are a bit pointy. How big of a problem would this be? I am willing to do assisted hatching, but would prefer not to.

This egg has a bit of "stress wrinkles" in the pointy end, but it's not too bad. You can sorta see them in pic #2

I'm setting tonight, so advice before then would be great.

Sorry these pictures are so bad. If you need better ones, let me know.

Well I don't know but they pip on the big end (usually) so I don't see any difference. That is not too bad of a pointy egg really. I have seen them look something like torpedos. I wouldn't set torpedos.

I wouldn't set a torpedo either. Thank you for the advice!
