how big should a chicken house be for 300 chickens?

There are are some folks that still think that this is some kind of inhumane horror show. They generally have no clue as to how different and how small-scale this is compared to the conventional egg industry.

Mac I am even MORE impressed. I did not realize your flock free ranged. Gawd what I wouldn't give for land like that. Our grass growing season is 30 days and the rabbits take care of that.... LOL. Not much you can do with 7 inches of rain per year.... total... including snow....

Of course there is no reason to compare I just forget how beautiful Green is untill I see it.
 
I agree with the other posts. You will need a big coop for 300 birds. I have four coops. Two of the coops are duplexes. I try to keep my flock around 100 birds. That is enough for me and my egg customers and a feed bill I can handle.
