well said sarabeth... I agree it's not the players persay (altho I cannot stand derek jeters ballooned head) but it's more the fans...they are incredibly rude and obnoxious most of the time and most places they go....New yorkers for ya eh? Not to bust on any nY'ers...it's just a different way of life and social conformity! But I also have real problems with owners of teams like the yankees, and or the cowboys in fb...owners that feel they can "buy" the best team out there, when that's not what the sport is about! Spread the wealth a bit...there are tons of charieites that need help...and the players dont need 8 mil a year to PLAY a GAME! Must be the life...playing and becoming a millionare for it! It actually can make for some incredibly boring games for both the players and the fans...and aren't those the two groups of ppl sports are about?!

Oh I am constantly yelling at the tv when watching a game "earn that fat friggen check". League minimum is something like 400k a year. Good grief.
