How BYC helps reduce my heating costs

Ever thought of doing a commercial for BYC?

It doesn't.

Computer room is on the NW corner of the house and I have to jack up the thermostat to be comfortable.

Well after 16 hours, the difference is incredible.

There is still a temp difference between floors, but the basement is comfortable now instead of chilly to cold.

Yes I do.
But my fuddy duddy old fart husband won't change his method of paper then kindling then cussing then relighting then a small log then a large log then cussing.
