how can I help my polish see?

Iv got 2 bearded golden crested polish both of their globes of feathers have completely covered their eyes. As a consequence theyre getting bullied and keep getting lost and falling into things!

Ive tried tying their feathers up with plumbers tape but it gets scratched off almost immediately. Any other ideas of how to tie up their feathers?

Im not keen on the idea of plucking them as I would like to show them.

Alot of people on the Silkie thread use hair tape and hair bands (but I would think the hair band would leave n impression in the feathers though, since they're tighter). With my Silkies, its their beards that cause the issues. I can't being myself to pluck either (or trim, it just seems like a shame to mess with their beautiful feathers), so I take some hair gel and make their beards lay away from their eyes. Good luck, its terrible watching the poor things run into everything!
