How can I interest my escaping hen in using the nestbox?

One of my Andalusian hens finds a way, every day, to escape from the pen over an 8-10ft fence, even though we clipped her wing. She goes to lay her egg in the pampas grass in the garden. How can I get her to use the nestbox like all the others? I wanted to keep them all shut inside the coop until after she's laid her egg but my husband thinks it's not fair on the others. I don't mind so much, except that it distresses the others when she's on the other side of the fence and I can't always be there to put her back in right away. Grateful for any suggestions.

I don't like closing chickens in coops but I believe I'd try it with her, at least for a few days. Maybe you can catch her at a time in her cycle when she's laying early morning. That or put a nestbox in the Pampas grass! Just kidding, Pampas grass attracts snakes, they say.
