If she is bleeding the best you can do is put some blood stop on it and stop her from moving around too much. If you think it would be worth it, you can bring her to an avian or exotic animals vet. If you plan to keep her until she is healed or for more than a day or to you should check out the laws in your area for keeping wildlife because in some places it is illegal.
There also seems to be some confusion as to if this bird is a Dove or a Pigeon so I thought I would define those terms. So, doves are like chickens because they are separated into two groups like bantam and standard chickens. The standard of a dove is called a pigeon and the bantam version is still called a dove. So, this bird would be both a pigeon and a dove. Like chickens doves also come in breeds and this bird looks like it might be a Rock Dove which are also known as common pigeons. I hope this helps!
Ok i will.. There is animal vet nearby i will bring her there and update you about her! Thank you

Feed your pigeon wild bird food with millet in it, I was raised in a household that raised Doves.(my parents are magicians) Obviously this bird has a wing injury. Doesn't look too bad. It could have had a strike from a raptor and was lucky, or the cat got it. Pigeons are pretty hardy. Food and water might help make it stronger. That bird is lucky YOU found it, many people wouldn't go that far for a pigeon:). Good luck! If it can never fly again, they're easy to keep and make great pets.

The best food for pigeons or doves is baby parrot food. It has most of the nutrients they need and available in many major pet supply stores. Good luck:)

I asked my mom, who raised doves for over 50yrs, she said wild bird food with corn, they love corn, and they need grit, I don’t think chicken grit would work, it’s too big, they sell grit at any pet store that has birds. Good luck

Hello, welcome to BYC! :highfive:

baby parrot food is GREAT for squabs, but for an adult bird it is not good. Wild bird seed is better, but it still doesn't always have the nutritional value that is needed. But if the OP finds a good mixture of it, it will work.
