how can you tell the gender of a chicken?

it has some sort of crested breed in its background not necessary for it to be silkie though as there are other crested breeds

I know, i raise polish bantams, but all im saying is it cant just be buff brahma x serama because of the crest

I have one Amber White and one Buff Orpington, both will be 4 weeks old tomorrow. Is it too soon to tell if they are both indeed pullets? I'm pretty sure they are but these are my first chickens.

i just started having chickens last year.:/ on my first try i knew i had a rooster. all i had to do was look at the comb and wattles. now on my second year, i could tell there was a rooster at the age of 3 weeks. its so easy. no offense. need help determining whether your chicken is a male or female? show me a pic and i'll try to determine the gender.
