how can you tell the gender of a chicken?

This (?) has recently started cocka doodle rooing all day. Live very close to others so I need to know if I need to get rid of it. Got it at chickens galore in norco and we're told they were female.

Im new to this but the black one looks like a roo. I bought what were supposed to be 3 pullets from a feed store a few months ago and one turned out to be a roo. They exchanged him for a pullet.

Can someone look at these and tell me the sex? I know that at least one is a hen since she has been laying for almost a week now. Are they all hens? (That's what I supposedly purchased...they are approximately 17 weeks old in this picture (the bottom pic is blown up from a section of the top one)). Eggs are white in color. I assume they are White Leghorn breed from discussion elsewhere on this forum. Thanks for everyone's help! (My chicken ignorance is showing, I know!) BTW, I have not heard any crowing from any of the bunch, only cackling...

A few months ago I was given two chickens by a friend who was moving away. They are now 5 months old. We were told they were hens but a few weeks ago both started to crow. Would you be able to help me to determine if they are hens or roosters? I really have no clue what I am doing.

Im sorry to say but both look like roosters.

Hmm, from the front it looks like a pullet. Could you get a full body picture with tail and all?
