How can you tell..........

Hi,

Just purchased some "mallard ducklings" from TSC. How do you tell if they are mallards or rouens??? My ducklings really seem to be big for just being supposedly a week old. Are the markings the same?? Do I have to wait to see how big they get??

Rouens have two eye stripes and mallards have one eye stripe and a dot or smudge below it.

Great news. All 7 have two eye stripes. I really wanted rouens, but I was settling with the mallards.
