How/can you wash a chick????

I do that with mine, though since his first bath he just been laying in the same place. Hmm. Oh and hes starting to smell. LOL

I have done what AJ suggested. Held a chick under the kitchen sink under lukewarm/warm water...quickly towel dried him and popped him back in the 'bator. In a few hours, he was nice and fluffy!
 
He has had a coupel of baths . . . it's not working lol But he is a happy healthy little guy!

On the TV when they give the birds baths they always use DAWN dish washing liquid in small amounts to get the oil off their feathers. I wonder if this would help the little guy. He sure is cute..
 
I don't think a bath is going to help him. His down looks short, which is giving him the funny appearance. That is typically due to improper humidity during incubation.

Almost looks like a different kind of chick, or it is genetically messed up. lol Maybe he needs a massage to stimulate appropriate feather growth..
