How did I get a "splash" chick?

This girl is another one of Harvey's chicks. I named her Brooke because of her wild red eyebrows!! She is almost completely black just some red eyebrows and a tad bit on her neck front.

Yeah, I thought that at first, too, but seeing as he’s only had black chicks, it didn’t seem likely.

I guess you’re right then, seeing as he has never produced blue chicks.

I got a BJG this spring to raise with a flock of Black Australorp hens. He's a sweetie! Somewhere around 22 weeks old now. Named him George.
