I had a hen that looked the same way.


It went away after her molt. She looks like a COMPLETELY different bird now.

For those who asked.....Kathy and I met at Thom Dean's place today. he has the hen that produces these curly feathered cochins. It shows up at about 5-6 months of age. He sold me a young roo who's tail feathers are just starting to curl. I have been given these two beautiful pullets by Kathy and plan to breed just for the curly feathers.

How's the project coming? I was at a friend's house today and she showed me her young coronation sussex cockerel with it. it was beautiful!!!

I had an FBCM roo with tail feathers like that. They went away after a molt.
