How Did Jesus Save You?

Hi everyone! I've been wanting to hear how some people got saved. I've been a Christian for as long as I can remember, I'm in a Christian home. I naturally love JESUS and it comes as first nature to me. The BIBLE is obviously true! I hope you get encouraged! Praying for everyone on here, it's wonderful how Christian this community is!

IDK if you're asking when did I accept Christ or how many times Jesus has saved me from death, addiction, not going to prison, etc etc.

Some of our lives started out a bit rough....

hi! I love this! I was saved when I was about 9 or 10 in Sunday school, but I have been raised in a christian home and have been in church my whole life.

It was 1979- I was 5 years old...yes I'm old. It was after Sunday School. The church was named Parkside Chapel and my Sunday School teacher's name was Mrs. Beers. She and her family did not have a lot of money; in today's views you would say that they were poor. But I could have cared less how much $ she had! I was fascinated with how she taught and explained Christ to me and the other kids, and her husband and much older kids (20's) were always so kind and helpful. A few months after I was saved, she gave me my 1st bible and had my name put inside. That bible meant / means everything to me, especially knowing how tight $ was for their family. Nowadays that bible looks like it got tossed out of an airplane at 30k feet... Jesus still saves

that's such and amazing story. It is so cool how the body of Christ is always willing to reach out and help even when it costs them.

For me it's more of a journey, than an event. It'd take a book. He's still working on me.

On a Sunday night in August 1988, Jesus saved my soul and He became my Lord and my Savior.
At the age of 19, I rededicated my life to Him.
Although I’ve let him down many times, He has never failed me yet.

I was raised christian my whole life so I feel like I've always believed in Jesus but I guess I officially gave my life to Christ when I was 4 years old and I begged for my Dad who was the pastor of our church at the time to baptize me along other people. It was a very special experience, especially since it was my own Dad. Best decision I've ever made, God bless you all.
