Try going later in the day. Last weekend i went to TSC on saturday afternoon and they were sold out. Feel like i lucked out. LOL

That's how I felt when I knew I would be going to TSC a couple weeks ago (first time I'd been there in the new town) and I was SURE they would have chicks! I got there and they had the brooders set up, but no chicks yet. WHEW!
