Forest Nymph or commonly called wood nymph or, of the forest, is a latin translation for the name Sylvia, Silvia, or Sylva .
My comfort zone is if I live near, in, or close to the forest. I guess I live up to my name...
Cities make me feel trapped. Suburbs...ok.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm now don't laugh (to much). I have always wanted a Jeep but have yet to buy one. And yet the chicks don't sound like chickens when small the sound like cheap cheap so, cheapcheap wants and jeepjeep but I made it short . AS is Cheapcheap_jeepjeep.

I was talking to my neighbors one day about, what else, chickens! Our dogs and their dog roam each others property, so of course our free-range chickens and roos do too! I try to herd them back onto our property when I can but I am recoverying from a badly broken ankle and cannot always hobble nextdoor to shoo them home. I told them that when I bring them home I shut them in their pen hopping that they will learn that if they go off the property then they get shut in their pen. My neighbor Jack told me that I am the "meanest chicken mom on the block!" That is too l9ong so I shortened it to cknmom. Other places I use mymuse as I also write and do many other creative things. My real name is Monica. We have three hens and two roos for now, need to get more hens!!

I am the Cub Scout den leader of Den 10. We started our den when the boys were in 1st grade, now they are in 3rd grade. My other handle is Bluecollarmom, which I love, but its not so accurate anymore since I went into "process engineering" instead of welding which I did for 10 years, (no longer a blue collar job)

I want my city boys to be able to learn about caring for these little chicks. And Den10Hens has a nice ring to it, don't you think?

Have you ever read a story called "Sheep in a Jeep"? That was my guess as to where your name came from

Mine is simple I guess. I wanted to be Southern Chick because that's what I am, a southern girl/chick with chickens. That was taken so I added my favorite number 28 in the middle. Southern28Chick. But folks call me Southern.
