How did you come up with your screen name?

I'm Crunchie 'cause I've been accused one too many times of being a "crunchy tree-hugging hippie!" I figured I might as well just put it out there. I'm Crunchie on some other boards as well. If I'm not a "Crunchie" I go by BrookValley, which is the name of my farm.

Hi! My screen name came about as a result of my birthday. I was born in California on Dec 20, 1957. Hence the name a57babe, which I use on other boards. Anyway, I didn't want to use baby or holly or anything Christmas, because that follows you around all the time, and that spoils the season. Well, when I decided to look into getting chickens, I found your site. I decided to modify my name from a57babe, to a 57californiachick. That's my sad sordid tail

The first year after we moved here my husband was voted to be our road association president. Our 6 year old daughter didn't quite understand what that meant and she preferred to call him King of the Road.

Well, our road is Moonbeam Terrace. So being married to the 'King', I became Moonbeam Queen. He's not the road association president anymore, but he's still my King and I'm still his Queen!!

BTW, I have to admit that when I first saw the screenname justusnak, I thought it was a little different, and that it meant 'just a snack' which is something I ca always go for. I laughed like crazy when I saw what it really was. I really misread that one.

Mine used to be something else, but I had it changed to Buster a while back. Buster was the name of a RIR rooster that my uncle had when I was a kid. He was the devil. I originally was going to name one of my roosters Buster to lift the curse from the name, but haven't been able to do that because I keep thinking "what if the name will make him mean?"

Im a chick,,,,, I raise peas = "PEACHICK"

on some sites I just use "KAT" = short for Kathleen

on other non animal sites, my screen name is usually "CHARM" = named after one of my dogs.
