How did you come up with your screen name?

Well... I actually AM a shrink. And there is nothing I love more than watching and analyzing my chicken!

 

[Chooksaurus]

Chooksaurus comes from the conversation that I had with my 5 year old about the evolutionary theory that dinosaurs evolved into modern birds. We were sitting in the run watching them hunt and peck, she somehow we ended up talking about it. We jokingly call one of our big RIRs "chickensaurus" when she is chasing a bug or a coop-mate, thus came "Chooksaurus".

My family moved around a bit during my teens and early twenties, but we have been in Kansas now for the past 16 years. I've been in love with horses for as long as I can remember, still ride, and plan to have one again someday (my current home in the country was chosen specifically for having a bit of land for one). So the 'eq' is for equestrian (or equus).

I was pet sitting my step sons bearded dragon while he was away on vacation and chicken feathers were everywhere in the chicken house due to molting.
It kinda came to me while poop scoopin the hous

 

[Yard full o' rocks]

I live in NW Georgia where there are LOTS of rocks in our yard. My children have complained since we built this house (8 years ago) when I ask them to pick up the rocks from the yard. Anyway, I got addicted to Plymouth Rocks and now have "too many to count accurately".....thus, a dual meaning.....Yard Full O' Rocks,

i was a pro tattoo artist for 13 years

when i moved to sc i stopped doing them but havent lost the passion for tattooing

maybe one day i'll get back into doing them but for now i'll keep to my chickens

I think it was the movie AIRWOLF with Roy Schieder(sp) his navigator with J.A.F.O. on his helmet. Roy asked him what the heck it meant and his response was "Just Another Freaking Observer,,, Sir". (kinda)

LittleFeat is one of my favorite bands and when I decided I wanted chickens, building a coop would be a Little FEAT and I want to fill it with Little FEET! Actually building the coop is a BIG FEAT but I didn't want my name to be BIG FEAT!
