How did you find BYC and what.....

I was investigating the possibility of putting some cattle in my back pasture and accidently landed here. I didnt have chickens and was not going to get chickens. Now, I have chickens and no cows and I am going to farm the back pasture. Cant remember what my first post was about. Probably an introduction

My first post was on mouse control and I found BYC with Google.

I don't remember my first post and I never did a New Member Intro- never figured out I should have until I was over a thousand posts of so.......

. Seems a bit late now!

I found BYC by googling "hoarse rooster", looking for help for my Golden Comet rooster who lost his crow.

I decided I'd get chickens again in January of 2008. Searched for coops, built one, order chicks from McMurray, Got them on April 27th and by May I was here searching for answers... I had half of the chicks die in the first 4 days... then folks told me that McMurray was having a virus/bacteria issue back then... made me feel better.

... and I'm still here... and THAT is a miracle!

Well i had had chickens for about 4 years before i joined BYC

but once we got our 2nd generation of chicks i got a sudden interest in chickens

and i was diein to know what sex my lil babies were so i joined BYC and posted pics of my girls (well, 2 of em were boys

) but yeah, and so began the addiction!

I found BYC cause my pup attacked my 2 pullets. I needed to save them. I only saved one. Her neck is kinda funny looking but shes laying now and one of my friendliest girls Ive got. Pry because she lived in my house for a week. Now I'm an addict and visit daily! truly tons of info and fun on here!
