How Did You Pronounce Chicken Breeds Before BYC?

I imagined d’uccle pronounced “dee-oo-cell”

And said “bi-felder”. The other L is invisible to me apparently!

And apparently I also never noticed Faverolles maintained the “s” at the end like Marans ... of which I still find myself saying Maran despite knowing there’s supposed to be an “s” ....

How about Brabanconne? I imaging saying “Brah-baah-cone”

I, too, also thought it was 'leg-horn' for a long time. Probably because of that foghorn leghorn guy
I thought d'uccle was 'dew-cell' for some reason
What else...I also used to put emphasis on the wrong syllables as well...for example I said "wy-AN-dotte" instead of "WY-an-dotte"

I usually do as well, but I here some people say “peeh-kin” or “peking” and so on
