We're at 84 today, but the humidity is lower so the feels like is just 85. I've been waiting on that humidity to drop for months. The feels like has been over 100 every day. Awful!

My chicken pen is infested with daddy long legs. They're basically like walking seeds. My chickens will not touch them! They'll eat butterflies and bumble bees, but not these nightmarish things.

Same! I was cleaning the Eglu yesterday, and managed to let the ceramic nest egg roll off the top and smash underneath it. Dandelion's in that section of the pen, so I had army crawl on my stomach to pick up the shards before she could get to them. Those spiders were EVERYWHERE. In my face, on my arms. Dandelion had zero interest, but very much wanted a sharp piece of ceramic.

No wonder I have an ulcer.

Same here! What is up with that?! You'd think the red would be an attractant. Clover is the only one that will eat them. Hornet is petrified of them. Maybe I should make a cherry tomato necklace for Dandelion to wear...

I think I'm going to have to remove the dish they're in from the run because they won't even go to that end of it now.
