That’s a different egg. Do you have a RIR?Ok so now there’s another contender for who laid. Or they’re both laying. Who knows? Today’s egg is slightly darker and larger. They both have smudges of something on their fluffy butts. Their vents look almost exactly the same. Looking at the eggs I think both. If so the right egg from yesterday is the Australorp’s and the left from today is the Light Brahma’s. Although the bossy Brahma (ironically named Sweet Baby), isn’t squatting. I know eggs start small and get larger over like the next month. I haven’t heard anything about the color changing. But as usual, I can be and probably am wrong.
In summary, I need to pay attention to my other hobbies.I’m going to read a book or listen to a story or take a nap.
