How do chicks get back into the nesting box?

Hello everyone!

I will be a first time chicken grandma this weekend! My silkie will be hatching 4 runner duck eggs.

My question is, she is brooding in the nesting box which is about 1 foot off the ground inside the coop, how would the baby ducklings get back into the nesting box with mum once they are out and exploring? Do I make a ramp?

After the hen and babies leave the nest, if the nest is raised like that, they usually do not go back. They just sleep on the floor instead.
