My husband and I were listening to them howling last night, a huge bunch of them, and he wondered how they keep warm in the winter? We don't have caves or anything like that . . .just huddle together?

They'll dig dens in the sides of waterways around here or just get down in the creek bottoms where there's cover from the wind.

Yotes have an excellent coat to insulate them in the harshest of winters. Oftentimes they dig their own dens, and group together in packs during the winter for more efficient hunting.
