How do I add numerous smilies in a row?

I can't figure out how to add more than one smilie in a row. Would someone clue me in - thanks.

edited to say used to have to space between each smiley, but I guess that has changed

that's with no spaces in between the same one which only shows one...for some reason

no space and it works with differing smilies

Oh, also, If the smilies aren't animated

you can put with no space.
