How do I cage train a chicken?

I trained one of my chickens to go into a cat carrier, in exactly the way that @Gray Farms described. Since I only have a few chickens, I bring them in the house when we get 100 degrees or more temps. Saves me having to chase her around with a net in high heat. I used mealworms and she cannot resist. Just be patient and don't rush it. Let the chicken decide it's safe. She doesn't go in "on command" like a dog, but has to see me put the worms inside.

Thanks!
