How do I cull the chicken w/Swollen eyeball (pics)

If you have read my past 2 posts to you on this subject, you already know what I think. None of the problems I think your bird may have has an easy cure, and most do not have an endpoint that is a bird that can have a close to normal or productive l life. I think it is time to let go (cull). If you cannot get a vet's help, then look into your state lab for diagnostic options (necropsy).

Thanks!!! What you said actually fit!!!! I dont know what she could have done but it isnt from surgery. I will look into it.
I was beginning to give up.

It fit but it isn't what is wrong.....the other eye is starting to swell

The eye that is pictured I believe is gone. I wish I could find a cure. I am at a loss. And can't find a vet that will take a chicken.
Anyone have any ideas?

Yes. I have to agree. I am almost to that point. (CULL) I am using another med and hoping to see improvement in the next day or so. I am working up to the culling part. I plan to wait the weekend and then make a decision.

Ok. I am going to cull this bird. I need ideas on how to do this. I don't want anything bloody or gory. I have NEVER intentionally killed anything in my life so I don't know if I can actually do this by myself. Please help me.

I suggest shooting the bird its very fast and should b easy:(

The sad fact is, unless you want to go to gruesome and horrid lengths with something like gassing, it'll be bloody and gory. Unless you can talk a vet into giving it a lethal dose of drugs.
