How do I cut costs?

Yep that's what I did, asked around and ended up scoring a ton of tin, wood and HWC, my whole coop and run only ended up costing $550, which is almost what I spent on my first coop which was a crappy prefab

I had to talk my family out of prefabs... was not an easy task.
