i don't skin them, i pluck them and it's no pain at all.
you just have to wait for the right time.
dunk them in water that was just taken off a boil (feet first) until the skin on the feet comes off
about 4.5 months for females and 5 to 5.5 for males. it really depends on how fast they grow.
i leave my biggest duck to reproduce with the females and kill the rest
