How do I delete a thread?

As the subject says, I want to delete a thread but I don't see how. Please assist.

I think you have to Private Message a Moderator such as @sumi or @Yorkshire Coop

Just click the little red flag at the bottom left of the first post and say you want tp delete it. We will come around and delete.

I submitted the request a few days ago via the red flag; do I just need to wait longer or should I message sumi and Yorkshire as Australorps suggested?
