How Do I Finish The Roof?

Quote:
Go to Lowes-- they have a wavy piece of foam (some are wood and plastic-- it depends on what you want to work with) Anyway, this is a wavy piece that fits under the corrugated roofing and it seals off the space under it. If you look at the Ondura roofing, they use a foam wavy piece, and the plastic and metal corrugated sheeting has the plastic and wood pieces that fit under there. Ask one of the guys back in roofing to show you where it's at. It's not always right with the roofing. Sometimes you have to hunt for it around the corner or up high. They sell a lot more sheets than those caps- just because you don't need a lot of them. They are fairly cheap, too.

ETA-- just wanted to add that you may not recognize the foam wavy pieces right off because they are stuck together and shorter than you might think. Only about 4 ft long. When you pull them apart, the wave is evident (the foam is usually for the Ondura roofing). On the plastic and wood wavy pieces- those won't fit on the Ondura, and they are specifically made to fit which ever roofing you are getting (plastic or metal and they have diff size corrugated waves on them), so be sure to fit it against the roofing you are getting to be sure it fits. They have longer or closer waves to fit under there perfectly. Those pieces usually come in about 8 foot lengths.

Marc, You need an "end cap" flashing. Any supplier of metal roofing will have it. Here are a few pics. There is also a special flashing for the two sides. Hope this helps.
