How do I flush my chickens eye with Vetricyn eye wash

it comes in a squirt bottle but it seems like that would be really intense. Do i just spay it on her eye wile trying to holder it open? I googled and you tube this and got nothing so figured someone must know how since it is often recommended.

Yeah. If it comes in a squirt bottle, bundle her in a towel, hold her on your lap, use one hand to gently pry open the eyelids and gently squirt the flush at the center of the eye. Nobody will like it but you can't get too much in. Their eyes are as tough as your eyes.

OH boy! Here I go! thanks I felt like i was man handling her but I need to force the eye open more... She is not thrilled with me right now.
