ehhhhhhhhh, I still think it's a scam.

We want to inform you that a reservation remains thus until it is activated for flight taking off.Only then shall we be able to confirm flight details like tracking number,flight number, departure and landing time.
^This is a huge red flag. They are basically telling you they can't confirm anything until you've lost your money. Also, the syntax and style of the note are not professional or typical of the way a huge company like AA operates. Sentences like "the owner says," "show the delivery man," "there is a credit card information entered." What?
In addition, insurance is not refundable. The point of insurance is you pay for it, and it pays off if you need it. You don't get it back. I'll bet if you call AA, they know nothing about this. And she'll have an excuse for that.
