How do i get rid of it...*pics*

Please update with his progress! What a cool experience. Unfortunately, I lost 3 chickens to a Cooper Hawk before I had netting. So I have been rather biased against them, but Wow, was your hawk pretty. Would love to know what happens with him.

x2 again. Would love to hear the outcome. I too, have lost a couple of my girls to hawks but I still find them beautiful and fascinating. They need to be free to live as they were made to live tho'. Hope he will be ok.

Thank you so much for helping this hawk out and getting him to the right people.

I know some of the responses in this thread are only people joking, but I can't help feel that maybe a few were serious... a pet? I guess ignorance is bliss! Alas.

sorry, coudnt help but post on these photos-such an amazing bird of prey plus brave kitty for not taking any crap off it,mine dont stand up to anything other than a squirrel unless its another cat.

hope her/his health test shows up ok and she/he can be released into the wild again.

can understand others point of view on this, but personaly have never seen wild life as pests as the earth is their home to,obviously their societies are no way near as complex as humans so they will never have supermarkets to wander into to get food, they are just following their bodies natural survival instinct to find food.

have lost many chickens to foxes, including several whom were very special girls to self, and though had been left without the girls have never changed thinking on foxes or other predatory wildlife, theyre trying to feed cubs and themselves otherwise they will starve.

in the poorerest areas of africa, will find its common for humans to steal and kill animals or vegetables from the same or different comunities because humans have survival instinct to,the comon view is to see this as a desperate situation with victims on both sides,as opposed to seeing them as pests or criminals [though some communities do,and will dole out incredibly harsh punishments for this].

this is darwinism at work, whilst the majority of humans eat animals, animals will eat animals, the strong will prey on the weaker.
the human race has been a bigger problem to wild life than the other way around in own view because of overdeveloping the land, destroying the habitats used by wildlife, which only served to move them into human territory.
