How do i get rid of leg mites fast and effective

Just the normal stuff. It will take at least two treatments; one to kill the live mites, the other to kill the mites from the eggs the original mites laid.
If you are only dealing with a few chickens applying Vaseline to their legs once a week or so will help prevent future mite problems.

Vaseline, mineral oil, Nustock sulfur horse cream, vegetable oil are some common ones. Some use ivermectin once and again in 14 days. No. Do not put rubbing alcohol on them.
You can use the spray cooking oils too.
They are extremely easy to apply by just spraying the legs each day.

There is no fast or easy or quick way to get rid of leg mites.
It can take weeks before you see improvement in the look of the legs once you have killed all of the mites.

I would just use the oil. Warm soapy water can be used to soak the legs for a bit to help drown the mites. Some use a soft toothbrush during the soak as well to help prepare the scales for the oil.
