How do I give a chicken a pill???

I have antibiotics for my sick chicken. How do I go about giving her a pill. The vet said let her peck it out of my hand, but she peck the grain but not the pill? Smart chicken, dumb owner. I am stuck.

Weird, my antibiotics are all powder I add to water?

The vet did not seem to ecstatic to have a sick chicken for a patient. He basically handed me the pills and sent me on our way. I guess I should be happy he did not give me soup recipes.
Could I grind it up and try to give it to her in a small amount of yogurt?
