How do I hypnotize a chicken!!!!!!!!!???????

Hello
Trying to hypnotize a chicken can be stressful for your chicken, so before you attempt it try to find a video to tell you how to do it properly. I know of a great video that has dr Harry showing how to hypnotize a chicken. It looks kinda weird when he moves away and it just is laying there, and then it gets up and acts like nothing happened. Try searching into YouTube how to hypnotize chicken by dr Harry. Hope this helps :)

When I was a kid, my brother used to do a weird method. He used to lay the chicken on its chest, legs behind it and head pointed straight along the ground. then he would take a twig and run it down the head, along the comb and down the beak to the ground, continueing out from the beak he would scrape a line in the dirt, all this is done very slowly. After a few seconds, he would release the bird very carefully. They would lay there for a few seconds before they blinked and stood up. I never put them on thier back, I believe that puts pressure on their lungs from their innards squishing them.

When chickens are very stressed they "play possum." (If you've ever had a chicken attacked by a dog, you'll know what I mean!) When I see the supposedly hypnotized chickens I don't see relaxed and happy birds - I see hens that are stressed.

Youtube is loaded with how-to videos on this subject. .

I've seen people just turn the chicken on its back while holding it in their hands and rub their bellies till their eyes close as if falling asleep. The chicken is then layed on the ground on it's back in the same position and they remain this way for a time.

I am wondering the same thing. Why would you want to do that to your chicken? Does it help train roosters not to attack people?

You hypnotize them to train them to attack.
